International Program
Welcome to Hickory Grove Christian School’s International Student Department. Our international program began in 2013, providing educational opportunities to international students on F1 visas. As a SEVIS (Student Exchange and Visitor Information System) certified school, we issue I-20’s for international students to obtain F1 non-immigrant student visas to study in the United States.
HGCS's curriculum and guidance department prepares students excellently to enter the rigor of higher education. International students benefit not only from our rigorous academic classes but additionally from our extensive athletic and arts departments. However the benefits are twofold: our international students are immersed in an American college preparatory environment while our school is a more diverse and a richer climate because of the many cultures that are represented in our international program.
We take pride in providing support for our international students all along their academic journey -- both in and out of school. Hickory Grove has been providing host family homestay since the program's conception in 2013. International students truly become Hickory Grove family.
If you have admissions questions or are interested in hosting an international student, please email our International Student Program Director, Sheila Chaney at admissions@hgchristian.org.
