Parent Teacher Fellowship
Who is the PTF?
The Parent Teacher Fellowship is a supporting organization of the school and is open to all parents with a child enrolled at HGCS in TK-12th grade. We use the term “fellowship” as we are a community of Christians working together to benefit our students, teachers, and staff in furthering Kingdom Education. Our goal is to provide greater opportunities for parents to become involved, parent-teacher communication to support the education of our children, and for HGCS to connect with the families it serves.
What does the PTF do?
We offer help and support to our teachers, coordinate selected classroom activities, plan and organize school events, provide funds, and give personal time for mission related activities within our community as well as our school.
Why should I be involved in PTF?
We believe that a child’s successful education cannot be achieved without parent involvement. The Parent Teacher Fellowship is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get involved and demonstrate to their children the importance of supporting and participating in their education. Being involved also affords parents greater understanding of the education your child is receiving and an opportunity to connect with Christian educators that work with your child each and every day.
How can I help?
You can help by offering your time, gifts, and talents in service to the PTF. There are numerous needs throughout the year in all grades, TK-12, that require parent participation to successfully support our teachers, students, as well as our community around us.
