Parent Teacher Fellowship
Who is the PTF?
The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is a vital support organization at Hickory Grove Christian School, open to all parents with children enrolled in grades TK-12. We use the word “fellowship” because we are a community of believers working together to further Kingdom Education. Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for parents to be involved in their children’s education, foster strong communication between parents and teachers, and build deeper connections between HGCS and the families it serves.
What does the PTF do?
The PTF supports our teachers by offering assistance and coordinating classroom activities, organizing school events, raising funds, and dedicating time to mission-related efforts within both our school and the surrounding community.
Why should I be involved in the PTF?
We believe that parent involvement is essential to a child’s success in education. The PTF provides parents with a unique opportunity to actively engage in their children’s learning journey and to demonstrate the importance of supporting their education. Being involved allows parents to better understand the curriculum and to connect with the Christian educators who work with their children daily.
How can I help?
You can contribute by offering your time, skills, and talents in service to the PTF. There are numerous opportunities for parent involvement throughout the year, across all grade levels, TK-12, that are crucial to supporting our students, teachers, and the broader community.
